Yoram Zague, a 19-year-old right-back under contract with Paris Saint-Germain until 2027, was loaned to Copenhagen for the 2025-2026 season with an option to buy. A great opportunity, but one that didn’t pan out, and the loan was ultimately terminated. This left his future uncertain. He has now been loaned to KAS Eupen in Belgium until the end of the season.
It’s a rather good way out, considering the season. Finding a solution during the winter transfer window is never easy, especially with a loan deal that was broken. Plans are disrupted, and there were concerns that Zague might find himself stuck.
Of course, the fact that QSI was the preferred option for both clubs likely helped in reaching an agreement. This is a situation that is increasingly common in world football, and PSG shouldn’t hesitate to take advantage of it. Especially since the loan also makes sense from a sporting perspective.
The Parisian youth player should be able to get opportunities with the 7th-placed team in the Belgian second division. And the latter is getting a reinforcement that could be interesting at minimal cost. Let’s hope Zague can adapt better than he did at the Danish club. His situation will be reassessed this summer; hopefully, there will be some positive developments.
