This Sunday, Paris Saint-Germain (1st) take on Olympique de Marseille (3rd) at the Stade Vélodrome for Matchday 9 of Ligue 1 2024-2025 ( kick-off 8:45pm, Paris time). Paris coach Luis Enrique must choose his starting 11, taking into account the opponent, upcoming matches and suspension risks, after forming the Paris squad for this match.
PSG are coming off a disappointing 1-1 draw, especially in the lack of efficiency, against PSV Eindhoven. It took strength. But it was Tuesday and the Classico is too special to be the beginning of an excuse.
Especially as Paris has no margin in Ligue 1, AS Monaco has just as many points and OM is only 3 points behind. And there’s not even a weekday match after that. We therefore expect Luis Enrique to field what he considers to be the best possible team.
It remains to be seen what exactly that is, between competition and analysis of the opponent. We can make an attempt, with no doubt at least 1 or 2 changes to the team actually fielded (as is often the case).
Possible line-up :
Barcola – Asensio – Dembélé
Neves – Vitinha – Zaïre-Emery
Mendes – Pacho – Marquinhos – Hakimi

Substitutes– Safonov, Tenas, Beraldo, Skriniar, Zague, Lee, Mayulu, Ruiz, Doué, Kolo Muani.
Out – Hernandez, Kimpembe, Ramos (blessure), El Hannach, Mbaye (choix).
Possible suspension for yellow card: None.
