While on loan at Reims from Paris Saint-Germain, Gabriel Moscardo went on to experience some great things with Brazil U20. Last night, the 20-year-old midfielder won the Copa America for his country’s U-20 team, having enjoyed a good deal of playing time throughout the competition.
Hampered by an injury at the start of the season, Moscardo only played 105 minutes with Reims. There were even doubts about the end of his loan. In the end, he was able to follow this up with Brazil U20 and showed great promise.
We hope that his new-found rhythm and confidence will enable him to get back to his best with Reims and sign a fine end to the season before returning to PSG to take stock. In any case, he deserves to be congratulated on his achievements.
