On Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain hosted Stade de Brest in the second leg of the Champions League play-offs (7-0 video highlights PSG/Brest). Shortly after the match, 25-year-old midfielder Vitinha spoke to PSG TV about his side’s qualification.
Vitinha “Above all, we have to emphasize the collective effort”.
“I’m repeating myself in my speech, but it’s true that we have a real team. We showed that again tonight. We have seven different goalscorers, and we always give the ball to whoever’s in the best position.
We don’t want to force the issue, we don’t want to score ourselves, we simply give the ball to whoever is free. And when you do that, you end up with seven goals. We’re very happy, especially for that, for the team’s work.”
