This Saturday, Paris Saint-Germain take on Inter Milan at Munich’s Allianz Arena in the final of the Champions League 2024-2025 (kick-off 9pm, broadcast on Canal+ and M6). On the eve of the match, L’Equipe has put forward a likely Parisian team.
Kvaratskhelia – Dembélé – Barcola
Ruiz – Vitinha – Neves
Mendes – Pacho – Marquinhos – Hakimi
Donnarumma.
A team which is almost the same as the one put forward by Le Parisien earlier, and which is entirely credible. In fact, there’s almost no doubt about the position of goalkeeper, in defence and in midfield.
The attack is a little less clear-cut, even if both newspapers have Bradley Barcola in the starting line-up. This could well be the case, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see Désiré Doué start either. Another big question is his exact place if he starts. He’s more at home on the left, and it seems that Khvicha Kvaratkshelia is too. Moreover, Le Parisien had put Barcola on the right.
We’ll have to wait and see for certain, especially as we know coach Luis Enrique: he’s quite capable of springing a surprise following the analysis of Inter Milan with his staff.
