This Friday, Paris Saint-Germain (1st) take on Rennes (8th) at the Parc des Princes for the 6th day of Ligue 1 2024-2025 (kick-off 9pm, broadcast on beIN SPORTS). With 2 days to go before the match, Le Parisien reports that Vitinha (24-year-old midfielder) and Désiré Doué (19-year-old midfielder/attacker) were still not at training this morning.

“Désiré Doué and Vitinha did not take part in collective training this morning.
A special session for the Portuguese. The former Rennes player continues to treat his ankle.”
Vitinha and Doué are not yet necessarily out for this match, but it’s hard to believe that they could play. The staff shouldn’t take any chances. The idea will be to prepare for the rest of the game, and to count on players who are fully fit for the reception of Rennes.
Luis Enrique is used to doing this, and it’s a healthy thing to do. There comes a time when you have to take care of your players’ health.
