This Saturday evening, Paris Saint-Germain will face Auxerre at the Parc des Princes for matchday 6 of Ligue 1. The match was marked by the early exit of Vitinha (a 25-year-old midfielder) in the 35th minute, just after Ilya Zabarnyi (a 23-year-old defender) opened the scoring with a pass from the Portuguese player. Achraf Hakimi (a 26-year-old right-back) replaced him.

Some journalists mentioned Vitinha appearing to be injured, but there were no specific signs. Was it just a minor discomfort, and therefore a precautionary measure? Or was it a tactical substitution? It’s difficult to be certain, and concerns arise easily at PSG these days. However, Vitinha didn’t seem to receive any medical attention and appeared rather annoyed.
