This Friday, Paris Saint-Germain (1st) faces Monaco (7th) at the Parc des Princes for Matchday 25 of the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season (kick-off at 8:45 PM, CET). On Thursday, Le Parisien published a likely PSG lineup.
Kvaratskhelia – Barcola – Doué
Ruiz – Vitinha – Neves
Mendes – Pacho – Marquinhos – Hakimi
Safonov.
We remain cautious, as nothing is certain yet, especially since PSG coach Luis Enrique is not giving any information to the press. A starting eleven has gradually emerged, but competition for places continues, and there are still doubts within a squad where versatility remains crucial.
There’s time to prepare, with a match last Saturday (a 1-0 victory in Le Havre) and the Champions League round of 16 first leg against Chelsea (return leg on March 17th) on Wednesday. This could be a sort of dress rehearsal against a Monaco side that must be taken very seriously. There are also doubts about the fitness of several players, including the returning Ousmane Dembélé, João Neves, and Senny Mayulu.
We could well see Barcola back in the number 9 role, an option that worked well in Le Havre last Saturday. We also saw him move into the center for a while during the Champions League playoff second leg against Monaco. This allows for wingers who are particularly comfortable under pressure and a central player who can be dangerous with runs in behind. Let’s wait and see, though, because Paris has several options.
