As always, we advise a degree of caution, as nothing is certain. Coaches like to keep their cards close to their chest; Luis Enrique is known to be particularly adept at this game and capable of springing surprises. With a high-quality, versatile squad at his disposal, he has a multitude of options. The Champions League is also on the horizon, though the match against Slovan Bratislava on Wednesday allows for some breathing room.
Even so, there could be some squad rotation to keep everyone involved and help the whole group find their rhythm. However, the “starters” also need to fine-tune their fitness and on-field chemistry. Nothing is straightforward; we have to wait for the official lineup announcements—about an hour before kickoff—to know for sure.
It is a similar situation for Monaco; while one might expect Filipe Luis to stick close to the setup used in the 2-0 win over Olympique de Marseille last weekend, there could be adjustments made to face PSG.
