Lee Kang-In, Paris Saint-Germain’s 24-year-old midfielder and striker, suffered an injury during Thursday’s World Cup 2026 qualifier draw between South Korea and Oman. After tests, he returned to Paris and journalist Loïc Tanzi announced the length of his absence.
“Less serious than feared for Lee Kang-In. The South Korean is expected to be out of action for two weeks.”
Mind you, we’ve already seen the media miss the mark on a player’s absence, and sometimes quite widely. But this reinforces the idea of a fairly short injury, even if Lee is likely to miss a few games with PSG. Including the Champions League quarter-final first leg against Aston Villa on April 9, if the journalist’s information is confirmed. We’ll have to wait and see.
