Arnau Tenas, a 24-year-old Spanish goalkeeper who signed with Paris Saint-Germain until 2026 in the summer of 2023 after his contract with FC Barcelona expired, has had almost no playing time so far. Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reported on Monday that Como has its sights set on him.
“The Italian club is evaluating the transfer of a new goalkeeper to join Butez. Fabregas’ team may have found the ideal candidate in Arnau Tenas, PSG’s Spanish goalkeeper.”
This is a credible announcement, with an ambitious club that still has a lot of work to do to improve on last season’s 10th place finish in Serie A. They need to make some very smart signings. Tenas is no guarantee, but there is hope for a very satisfactory goalkeeper at a lower price.
As for the Spaniard, it would be an opportunity to finally get regular playing time in his career. This could be interesting at his age, even essential. Let’s wait for confirmation, though, as nothing is concrete yet. Many things are still possible.
