The 2026 summer transfer window is already being prepared by clubs, and rumors surrounding Paris Saint-Germain are piling up. This time, it’s AS that has linked PSG with Eduardo Camavinga, the 23-year-old midfielder for the French national team and Real Madrid (contract until 2029), whose departure this summer is a possibility.
“Premier League clubs, just like PSG, are putting pressure on him.”
“A cloud of uncertainty hangs over Camavinga’s future. The complex situation at Real Madrid opens up several possibilities. Although no decision has been made by either the player or the club, this scenario is certainly food for thought. It has, in fact, prompted several clubs to show interest in the Cabinda native. Premier League clubs, as well as PSG, are putting pressure on him. For now, it’s only an offer in principle, not a formal proposal.
“Something could happen.”
He is not entirely satisfied with his role, which is even jeopardizing his participation in the World Cup. It’s a complex and delicate situation, which has fueled discussions within the locker room regarding a possible departure for Camavinga this summer.
“Something could happen. Because no decision has been made on this matter. Not by Real Madrid, not yet.”
We are always cautious when faced with rumors, especially when they come from a Spanish media outlet. PSG and one of the big clubs are linked. It’s a classic scenario, often with no confirmation and the player more likely to stay at Real Madrid or FC Barcelona for a “victory” against Paris. It’s not out of the question here.
However, we can’t rule out PSG’s interest either if Camavinga is indeed looking for a new project. The Parisian club was already tempted when he left Rennes in 2021, and he remains a very talented player. Except that he hasn’t been able to fully establish himself at Real Madrid. A move to Paris wouldn’t be unreasonable. He’s a young talent with room for improvement and possesses a certain versatility. A quality that coach Luis Enrique greatly appreciates.
Also, if the player is truly considering leaving and Real Madrid are open to a move for a reasonable price, it would be one of those famous “opportunities” that Paris seems to be waiting for to make a move in order to avoid an overly expensive transfer. But be warned, other outcomes are still quite possible. Camavinga could well stay in Madrid, or head to the Premier League. This would allow PSG to focus on other matters.
