Maghnes Akliouche, the 24-year-old attacking midfielder/winger for AS Monaco, was linked by the media with a move to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2024, but he extended his contract (from 2026 to 2028). PSG is reportedly still interested in him for the future, while Monaco has now opened the door to a transfer. Le Journal du Dimanche claims to have received confirmation that their player is free to leave this summer. Liverpool would also be in the race.

Nothing is impossible; this isn’t a newspaper known for its transfer rumors. We can assume there’s some solid basis for such claims. However, we also know that the transfer market can change quickly and that nothing is certain yet.
Not to mention that this “release clause” would be around 50 million euros, a considerable sum. There’s no guarantee that PSG would be willing to pay it this summer. Although it’s not inconceivable. The uncertainty continues; we’re waiting for confirmation. Paris can certainly secure a transfer if they push for it, but other options may well exist. Monaco and Akliouche could also have other offers, including from Liverpool.
