Warren Zaïre-Emery, a 19-year-old midfielder with Paris Saint-Germain and the French national team, spoke to FFF TV as he joined Les Bleus. He logically returned to Saturday’s 5-0 Champions League victory over Inter Milan.
Zaire-Emery “To do it with this coach, this team, it’s incredible.”
It’s just incredible what we’ve done, we’ve made history with Paris Saint-Germain. It’s the club’s first. Frankly, there’s nothing more beautiful than doing this as Titi. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve watched the greatest players who’ve come through here and they haven’t done it. There have been plenty of them. To do it with this coach and this team is incredible.
Zaire-Emery: “Our aim is to reach the final”.
A great party afterwards?
I’m not someone who likes to celebrate titles, but this one I did celebrate with the team. It’s all great stuff. It’s just incredible.
And now for Les Bleus?
We’ve got two games coming up, the big one against Spain. Our aim is to reach the final (of the Nations League) and we’re going to do everything we can to do that.
