Vitinha, the 24-year-old Paris Saint-Germain midfielder, has extended his contract until 2029. Pleased with the decision and his performances, he spoke to PSG TV about his joy at continuing in a city he loves. He also praised Luis Enrique and sent a fine message to the fans.

There’s a lot of joy especially with the family, myself, I love being here, I love the city. I love the culture, I love the people, I love the club. I love everything that’s going on here and I have plenty of reasons to stay here. You spend a lot of years here, especially with your team-mates, the staff, everyone, but the truth is that I feel I’ve grown up here. I hope to continue to do so in the years to come.
