This Saturday, as part of the 32nd day of Ligue 1 2024-2025, Paris Saint-Germain faced Strasbourg at the Stade de la Meinau. After a match in which the Rouge et Bleu weren’t sharp enough, with a large number of turnovers taken into account in the notes, they lost 2-1 (video Highlights Strasbourg/PSG). Here are our grades on the Parisians.
Goalkeeper –
Matvey Safonov (6) – Can’t do much on goal and was pretty good wide.
Defenders –
Warren Zaïre-Emery (6) – A little more effective than in recent games, without necessarily being brilliant.
Axel Tape (6,5) – For a Titi who’s still in his professional debut, this was a pretty solid performance.
Lucas Beraldo (6) – In a much-changed defense, he remained rather serene.
Lucas Hernandez (5,5) – Fairly aggressive, but also struggled to cope with Strasbourg’s liveliness. Replaced by Noah Kamara (6) at half-time, a fine debut for a professional.
Midfielders –
Senny Mayulu (6) – Lots of impact, but lacked a little precision to finish.
Lee Kang-In (5,5) – Rather interesting in the middle with his energy and some passes, but also some poor choices and sometimes complicated defensive positioning. Logical, as he’s not used to it. Replaced by Désiré Doué (5) at half-time, he came on to set the pace, but his mind is on the Champions League.
João Neves (5) – Always puts in a lot of energy, but didn’t make as much impact as usual. Replaced by Fabian Ruiz in the 61st minute.
Forwards –
Ibrahim Mbaye (5) – A lot of desire and percussion, but also a little clumsy.
Gonçalo Ramos (5) – Still some very nice things, but we’d like to see him finish more.
Bradley Barcola (6,5) – A lot of activity and a nice goal, even if it wasn’t enough.
Coach –
Luis Enrique (5) – Difficult to judge a match where the main thing is to rotate the squad. He made his rotations, but we lost. The main thing is the Champions League.
