This Saturday, Paris Saint-Germain take on Inter Milan at Munich’s Allianz Arena in the final of the Champions League 2024-2025 (kick-off 9pm, CET). As early as Monday, Le Parisien put forward a likely Parisian team.
Barcola – Dembélé – Kvaratskhelia
Ruiz – Vitinha – Neves
Mendes – Pacho – Marquinhos – Hakimi
Donnarumma.
Beware, there are no certainties as far from the matches or particular information that has been slipped in. It’s more a question of going forward with the latest matches and habits of coach Luis Enrique. This is an entirely possible team, but far from fixed.
Bradley Barcola has undeniably scored points of late, and it would make sense to see him start. Particularly against an Inter Milan side that likes to play high up the pitch and press as hard as possible. The striker’s speed is enough to hurt or deter. But of course, Désiré Doué also has something to say.
It could be in place of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, although the line-up for the Coupe de France final may give some clues. The Georgian should get off to a good start without a nasty headache. In fact, he could play on the left and Barcola on the right, even if the latter finds it harder to score on that side.
As for the rest, it’s hard to imagine any changes in midfield, defence or goal. Even if Luis Enrique knows how to surprise, the incumbents seem to have earned their place.
