This Friday, Paris Saint-Germain (1st) take on Botafogo (2nd) at the Rose Bowl Stadium for Matchday 2 of the 2025 Club World Cup (kick-off 3am CET, broadcast on DAZN). Paris coach Luis Enrique must choose his starting 11, taking into account the opponent, upcoming matches and suspension risks, after having formed the Parisian squad for this match.
After a “standard team” based on the players available for the 4-0 win over Atlético Madrid, will coach Luis Enrique rotate the squad a little? It’s possible, there are players who need a breather and others who need to be involved.
But there’s also been a bit of time between the games from Sunday to tonight, and the next one arrives on Monday. A rotation would of course be in order, especially in the event of a fine victory over Botafogo. So it’s hard to be certain without having all the facts (the exact state of the players, the plan for what’s to come, etc.). But we can be sure that the Spaniard will field a highly competitive line-up.
Possible line-up :
Kvaratskhelia – Ramos – Barcola
Ruiz – Vitinha – Zaïre-Emery
Mendes – Pacho – Beraldo – Hakimi
Donnarumma
Substitutes – Safonov, Tenas, Beraldo, Hernandez, Kamara, Kimpembe, Mayulu, Moscardo, Neves, Doué, Lee, Mbaye.
Out – Dembélé (injury), El Hannach, Tape, Zague (choice).
Possible yellow-card suspensions: none.
