John McGlynn, 40, coach of Scottish club Falkirk, who have been promoted to the first division, is openly inspired by Paris Saint-Germain under the leadership of Luis Enrique (55). In an interview with the Daily Mail, he explains that PSG is today “the team of the moment” and he studies their play daily to instill a new team spirit in his team. This approach reflects the growing aura of Paris Saint-Germain, even among modest clubs in Scotland.

“We’ve watched Paris Saint-Germain a lot, because 𝗣𝗦𝗚 𝗜𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗠 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗠𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧. We look at how they play, and we try to replicate it, to do what they do — 𝘄𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗴𝘂𝘆𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴.”

“Luis Enrique 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀. He’s done an incredible and rapid job in turning this team around. Younger players, a more united group rather than just individual stars — that’s a key point I try to emphasize.”

Paris Saint-Germain left a deep mark on the 2024–2025 season, with major tactical and collective influence. Despite the departure of its iconic figure Kylian Mbappé, the club successfully adapted and imposed a style of play based on youth, unity, and high-intensity pressing — the cornerstone of Luis Enrique’s philosophy.

This sporting revolution extended beyond the pitch: PSG has inspired numerous teams across the world who now seek to replicate this winning dynamic. With national titles and a historic first UEFA Champions League triumph, the Parisian club has reached a pivotal milestone in modern football — blending sporting excellence with global influence. This season has elevated PSG as a model of evolution for both European and international football.
