On Sunday at the Stade Pierre Mauroy, Paris Saint-Germain drew 1-1 in the first match of the 7th round of Ligue 1 2025-2026 against Lille. We then asked our readers, as we do after every match from now on, to vote for the best Parisian of the match. Willian Pacho (23-year-old defender) won.
A result that comes as no surprise, as Pacho was a true leader in a defense that remained solid for most of the match — and he bears no responsibility for the goal conceded. The Ecuadorian continues to establish himself as a defensive leader, and it seems likely that this will remain the case for a long time.
On the podium, Lee Kang-In (midfielder/forward, 24) and Lucas Hernandez (defender, 29) also make perfect sense. The Korean brought great energy to the midfield, contributing defensively while helping organize play — even if his missed control led to the opposing goal. As for Hernandez, he keeps showing his return to form with another strong performance.
Thank you all once again for your votes. As a reminder, the podium from each match contributes to the end-of-month vote for the Player of the Month award.
