Recently, Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) announced the acquisition of KAS Eupen in the Belgian second division. The owner of Paris Saint-Germain since 2011 has now strengthened the organizational structure of its new club with Pasquale Sensibile as sporting director. He was previously head of recruitment at PSG.
Campos said, “He also ensures continuity and alignment within the QSI football family.”
The official statement reads:
“Qatar Sports Investments (QSI), a leading strategic investment group in the fields of sport, culture, entertainment, and lifestyle, is pleased to announce the appointment of Pasquale Sensibile as sporting director of KAS Eupen, effective immediately and until the summer of 2026.”
This choice was also commented on by Luis Camps, sporting advisor to both QSI and PSG:
“We are very pleased that Pasquale is taking on this important role at Eupen.” He brings exceptional expertise in talent development and team building, and as a key member of the PSG structure, he also ensures continuity and alignment within the QSI football family.”
Campos’s comments suggest that Pasquale will retain a role in Paris. Perhaps even the same one. In any case, there’s no talk of a replacement at the moment. This is a strong indication of the planned link between the two clubs.
We can expect some PSG players to be loaned to KAS Eupen. Meanwhile, some talented players who pass through the Belgian club could be “directed” to Paris if there’s a feeling they could establish themselves there.
