A match to forget? Yes and no. The evenings are starting to repeat themselves. PSG players are making a lot of mistakes, and the leaders are putting in less than average performances, like Vitinha, Hakimi, and Nuno Mendes. Doué and Kvaratskhelia are struggling right now; there are problems in every position.
No player seems to be able to truly shine. There are too many difficulties with passing, in attacking duels, and in defensive duels. Safonov didn’t shine, Pacho and Zabarnyi are no longer providing the essentials, and there’s a lot to review, which isn’t exactly reassuring before the Champions League round of 16.
