On Friday at the Parc des Princes, Paris Saint-Germain beat Toulouse 3-0 on Matchday 12 of Ligue 1 2024-2025 (PSG/Toulouse video summary). We then asked our readers, as they do after every match from now on, to vote for the best Parisian of the match. João Neves (20-year-old midfielder) won the vote.
It was an unsurprising victory, as the Portuguese player was very good, particularly at recovering the ball. Not forgetting, of course, his magnificent goal. Neves continues to establish himself at PSG as an excellent recruit, and that’s great news.
Behind him, Warren Zaïre-Emery (18-year-old midfielder) seems to be making a comeback, which is excellent news for PSG. We hope he’ll confirm this. It’s also interesting to see that Matvey Safonov (25-year-old goalkeeper) is ready, even if he’ll have to prove himself against greater adversity.
Lucas Beraldo (20-year-old defender) could also be considered for the podium, but so much the better if the competition was tough despite several slightly disappointing individual performances in this match (overall in the attacking sector).
We would like to thank you for your votes, which will henceforth be organized after each official match. We would also like to point out that the podiums from the player of the match elections will be used to elect the player of the month.
