Christopher Nkunku, Chelsea’s 26-year-old attacking midfielder (contract runs until 2029), has been mentioned as a possible target for his parent club Paris Saint-Germain this winter. PSG Inside Actus confirmed on Monday that the file does exist and that an arrival is on the horizon.
“There’s a lot of talk about Nkunku. Seeing him this winter at #PSG is possible. We’re leaning more towards a loan with an option to buy…”
Nkunku has been mentioned several times as one of PSG’s prospects, and it makes sense. The Parisian team are struggling to finish their chances, and he knows how to be decisive in both passes and goals, with the added bonus of a percussive ability that is sometimes lacking. The French international is also versatile, which suits coach Luis Enrique.
And there’s no doubting Titi’s attachment to PSG. Indeed, he has left the door open to a return in several interviews. With his mainly understudy position in the Premier League despite good performances in other competitions, he and Chelsea could be listening.
However, nothing is certain either. These are just rumours, and each party may have other ideas. It’s not even certain that Nkunku will be on the move this winter.
