On Matchday 13 of the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season, Paris Saint-Germain secured a 3-0 victory against Le Havre at the Parc des Princes. This win allows them to maintain their first-place position, while the competition for the top three tightens.

PSG didn’t completely dominate their home game against Le Havre, but they deservedly won, having created a greater number of chances. And not just a few. The good news is that they were able to rely on a fit Lucas Chevalier. This should boost their confidence and composure, in addition to securing valuable points to maintain their position at the top.
Indeed, prior to this match, Olympique de Marseille had made a strong impression, notably with their goals against Nice. Nice offered little resistance, and at times their performance was even worrying, allowing Marseille to capitalize with a much-needed 5-1 victory as they returned to action.
Next, Lens and Rennes pulled off the biggest upsets of the weekend. Lens, in a very tight match (8 shots to 7, 52% possession), defeated Strasbourg, who were just behind them in the standings. Rennes, with their clinical finishing (11 shots to 7, 51% possession), dispatched Monaco, who continue to struggle for consistency and find themselves at the bottom of the second tier.
Lille took advantage, albeit with difficulty, of Paris FC’s recurring defensive woes, to move into fourth place and prevent the top three from pulling away too far. In their 4-2 win, Olivier Giroud rediscovered his scoring touch (twice, in fact) after a two-month goal drought.
The worst result at the top of the table was for Lyon, who drew 0-0 at Auxerre despite dominating possession. It’s a difficult period for Lyon, while the bottom-placed team can take this point with satisfaction. Angers also managed to secure a win in Toulouse, continuing their impressive climb up the table and even drawing level with Toulouse, for whom European qualification seems too difficult this season.
Finally, in the relegation battle, there were some dramatic moments: Nantes snatched a draw in stoppage time against Lorient, while Brest secured victory with a penalty in the 910th minute after the first attempt was saved six minutes earlier.
