As it does after each round of league matches, L’Équipe has drawn up its squad list for Matchday 5 of Ligue 1 2024-2025, which was played over the weekend. With their 1-1 draw against Reims at the Stade Auguste Delaune, Paris Saint-Germain saw none of their players selected.

It’s no surprise to find PSG missing from this squad, given their overall disappointment. Collectively, they lacked rhythm and creativity. Individually, few players really stood out.

However, João Neves (19-year-old midfielder), hyperactive and a decisive passer, and Willian Pacho (22-year-old defender) were very solid. But it makes sense for other Ligue 1 players to be honored.

These include OM, who won 2-3 at Lyon after playing with 10 men from the 5th minute, and Nice, who beat AS Saint-Etienne 8-0. We note the presence of a defender from Reims, a sign of the resistance put up by PSG.
