Having arrived in the summer of 2023 from Inter Milan, 29-year-old defender Milan Skriniar has yet to fully establish himself at Paris Saint-Germain. His contract expires in June 2028, and his name has been mentioned in the rumor mill. This Monday, Foot Mercato reports that Juventus have taken an important step.
“According to our information, Juventus – who had already positioned themselves on the Slovakian this summer – have returned to the charge for this winter. The Bianconeri want to make up for the absence of Gleison Breimer, who is out for the rest of the season, with the arrival of the former Inter captain.
Milan Škriniar, meanwhile, has already agreed to join the Turin club. Negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain have already begun. The Parisian club is demanding a substantial sum from the Italians, who are keen to include various players to facilitate the deal.”
A relatively credible announcement, since Juventus would like to strengthen their defense and Skriniar could be a target. He has already shone in Serie A, so there’s every reason to believe that this could help him get back on track. Knowing that his last few games for PSG were better.
We remain cautious, however, as there’s nothing official and we know that the media can get carried away a little too quickly. In particular, there is still a complicated agreement between the two clubs. There’s nothing to say that an exchange will be possible, or even which players might be involved.
Let’s wait and see, Skriniar could simply continue at PSG. Or go somewhere else.
