Having arrived in the 2023 summer mercato from Inter Milan, 30-year-old defender Milan Skriniar has not made the move to Paris Saint-Germain. His contract expires in June 2028 and he has been loaned out to Fenerbahçe for the rest of the 2024-2025 season. This Monday, Takvim reports that the player already knows what he wants to do next.
“Škriniar has expressed his wish to continue his career at Fenerbahçe!
Takvim claims that Fenerbahçe have a secret 13M clause. However, although certain conditions have not been met, Fenerbahçe will make an offer.
The player’s market value is 15M”
We remain cautious, as there is nothing concrete yet and therefore no certainty. But Skriniar seems to be back to his best at Fenerbahçe. A transfer at the end of the season would make sense.
However, the matter is far from settled. The Slovak defender may have other ideas in mind, and so may the Turkish club. Above all, an agreement with PSG would not necessarily be straightforward, especially if there is a desire to renegotiate a fee already mooted this winter. Let’s wait and see.
