On Saturday at Roazhon Park, Paris Saint-Germain beat Rennes 1-4 on Matchday 25 of Ligue 1 2024-2025 (video highlights Rennes/PSG). We then asked our readers, as they do after every match from now on, to vote for the best Parisian of the match. Bradley Barcola (22-year-old striker) came out on top.
Not a surprising success for a fairly full performance (1 goal and 1 assist in addition to the chances created), even if he did “disappear” a little at the start of the second half after the 0-2 scoreline. But that’s the case for the whole team, so it’s hard to take points away from him compared to the others. There were also some fine performances from João Neves (20-year-old midfielder) and Désiré Doué (19-year-old) to ensure balance and control for much of the match. They also created chances, as always. Doué even provided an assist.
Willian Pacho (23-year-old defender) made a number of defensive interventions to keep PSG ahead even when they were in more difficulty. But he’s “only” 4 in the face of stiff competition.
