The Collectif Ultra Paris, during the defeat against Atlético Madrid, 1-2, this Wednesday at the Parc des Princes during the 4th day of the Champions League, erected a tifo in support of Palestine. According to Bruno Salomon, France Bleu Paris, the Parisian club has decided that there will be no more tifos at the Parc des Princes in 2024.
It’s a logical decision considering the noise this affair has caused. There’s no need for politicized messages, and the one used against Atlético Madrid caused quite a stir, so PSG decided to crack down to avoid future problems.
However, we regret the double standards applied to other issues around the world, but from a purely “club” point of view, perhaps PSG had no other choice but to show its true colours.
