Paris Saint-Germain continue to refine its youth development strategy.
In an interview, Pasquale Sensibile, sporting director of KAS Eupen, confirmed a strengthened collaboration with PSG, opening the door to more regular loan moves as early as January. A clearly structured and deliberate evolution.
Sensibile: “It is possible that a young PSG player will join us in January”
“Paris Saint-Germain and KAS Eupen will collaborate and work together wherever it makes sense and helps us move forward.
It is possible that a young PSG player will join us in January. There have already been sporadic collaborations in the past between PSG and KAS Eupen, such as the loan of Djeidi Gassama. We can now put this type of cooperation in place more systematically between PSG and KAS Eupen, but also with Braga.”
This PSG–Eupen partnership is not coming out of nowhere. It fits into a framework that has existed for several seasons, though it had long remained fragmented. Eupen, a satellite club within the Aspire group, offers PSG an ideal environment: a competitive league, manageable media pressure, and genuine openness to young players seeking regular playing time. The previous loan of Djeidi Gassama was not an accident, but a real-life test.
Now, PSG want to systematize this type of pathway, alongside a similar axis with Braga. The idea is clear: better control the transition between PSG and the very highest level, avoid “parking” loans, and guide young talents within a clearly defined structure. This is no longer improvisation, but a deliberate architecture. PSG are no longer just developing players — they are now actively managing careers.
