This Saturday, during Matchday 6 of the 2026-2027 Ligue 1 season, Paris Saint-Germain faced Le Mans at the Parc des Princes. After a match where the Rouge et Bleu put in a mixed performance for the first hour, they ultimately won 3-1, having been level at 1-1 when the substitutions were made. Here are our ratings for the Parisian players.
Goalkeeper –
Matvey Safonov (6.5) – He could do nothing about the goal conceded and made a few good saves, though his distribution could still use some fine-tuning.
Defenders –
Achraf Hakimi (6.5) – The Parisian full-back was very active, though unfortunately a bit sloppy at times. He did, however, win the penalty that led to the opening goal. Replaced by Désiré Doué in the 72nd minute.
Ilya Zabarnyi (4.5) – There were some good interventions, but also some worrying moments—such as a lost duel that put the team in danger during the first half and unconvincing positioning on the goal conceded.
Lucas Hernandez (6) – He made several important tackles but also struggled at times; the defender was even beaten for pace on a chance that ended up hitting the crossbar.
Lucas Digne (4) – A rather unremarkable performance from the full-back; furthermore, he was slow to react on the play that led to the 1-1 equalizer.
Midfielders –
Lucas Beraldo (4) – He deserves credit for converting his penalty and winning back possession a few times, but he didn’t have a major influence on the game. There were also a few costly turnovers. Replaced by Vitinha in the 58th minute. João Neves (5.5) – Always highly active, with a few moments of quality, but ultimately an unspectacular performance. Replaced by Warren Zaïre-Emery in the 58th minute.
Dro Fernandez (5) – Flashes of brilliance, but a lack of consistency. He needs to find a way to exert more influence on the game. Replaced by Fabian Ruiz in the 58th minute.
Forwards –
Mika Godts (4) – Showed a willingness to drive forward and take on defenders, but with mixed results at best. Replaced by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in the 58th minute.
Ferran Torres (5.5) – Very active, making crucial runs. He just lacked a bit of luck—and the right final pass—to truly make his mark.
Maghnes Akliouche (6.5) – He is proving well-suited to the Parisian style of play and is starting to provide a spark, evidenced by the goal he scored. It would be good to see him involved a bit more as the match progresses.
Coach –
Luis Enrique (7) – PSG weren’t brilliant, but returning from an international break right before a Champions League fixture is always tough. He managed the squad well; they got the win and avoided injuries. A successful night.
