This Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain faces AS Monaco at the Parc des Princes in the second leg (2-3 in the first leg) of their 2025-2026 Champions League playoff (kick-off at 9 pm, CET). On Tuesday evening, Le Parisien published a probable PSG lineup.
Barcola – Doué – Kvaratskhelia
Neves – Vitinha – Zaïre-Emery
Mendes – Pacho – Marquinhos – Hakimi
Safonov.
This is a perfectly plausible lineup, but we can’t be certain, especially since coach Luis Enrique isn’t giving any information to the press. He also knows how to surprise regularly, even if it’s less common in the Champions League, where there’s no rotation. A first-leg victory isn’t enough to guarantee qualification; the objective will be to secure the best possible win. This would also be a positive boost for confidence.
There are still some doubts within a squad where competition is fierce and versatility is highly valued. Even though we have some answers from the first leg and the players who were able to rest a bit on Saturday during the Ligue 1 match against Metz, we’ll still wait for the official announcement, about an hour before the match, for any certainty.
