Milan Skriniar, 29-year-old defender, was in the press conference before Slovakia’s match against Sweden this Saturday. He spoke of his match against Angers, his first in a long time, and how proud he was to have been able to take part and win. He also assured us that he is working hard, watching the players he will be facing very closely.

Skriniar on the match against Angers in Conf.
“I’m happy to have played and to have joined the team. We won, which is great, so I arrived in a good mood.”
“I always look at the strikers or players I’m going to play against before a match”

It must feel good to be playing for his club again, although his coach doesn’t see him as a key member of his team. Especially as Skriniar is a key member of the Slovakia team. He’s keeping his head up, happy to have been able to play and therefore get some minutes before defending his country’s colors.

However, he can’t be happy about his situation, as he’s used to always being an important part of his teams. Let’s hope he can keep it up for a while, as he’s shown he can help PSG.
