The 2025 summer transfer window is officially underway and will remain open in France until 8 p.m. on September 1. As a result, rumors around Paris Saint-Germain are multiplying. This time, PSG Inside Actus reports interest in Ederson, the 26-year-old Brazilian defensive midfielder from Atalanta (under contract until 2027), who has earned two caps with the national team. He is reportedly attracting attention from several major clubs.
“The player is valued at a minimum of €60 million, and no lower offers will be considered.”
Ederson, the Brazilian holding midfielder from Atalanta, is now officially among the targets PSG is monitoring this summer. The Italian club will not be flexible: they are demanding at least €60 million, and will reject any bid below that threshold.
Top clubs reportedly interested:
Inter Milan is actively preparing an offer. The Milan-based club sees Ederson as a key midfield reinforcement, but must first sell players to generate funds.
Manchester United made a €50 million bid last year, which Atalanta rejected. The English club remains interested, still looking for midfield solidity.
Real Madrid, according to Marca, is also keeping close tabs on Ederson following his strong performances in Bergamo. However, no official offer has been reported so far.
“There has also been talk of Chelsea, Liverpool, and Tottenham being in the mix.”
It’s not unrealistic — PSG signing a player in this position makes sense, especially if João Neves and Warren Zaïre-Emery are expected to provide cover at right-back in Achraf Hakimi’s absence. At 1.83 meters tall, Ederson brings a physical presence that PSG occasionally lacks, along with solid technical skills and a combative playing style.
All signs suggest that he is indeed a serious target for PSG and other major European clubs. But no definitive conclusions can be drawn at this point. Negotiations with Atalanta are expected to be difficult.
We’ll have to wait and see if things begin to materialize. PSG, Ederson, and Atalanta may all prioritize other directions this summer. The midfielder could even end up staying in Bergamo — or potentially extending his contract.
