Bradley Barcola, Paris Saint-Germain’s 22-year-old striker, stopped off in the mixed zone after the 2-4 victory over FC Espaly (Espaly/PSG video highlights) this Wednesday at the Stade Marcel Michelin in the round of 16 of the Coupe de France 2024-2025. He talked about the difficult qualification and the more complicated last few weeks for him.

Barcola “I’m trying to get back into it and think 100% about soccer.”

Were you worried about going to penalties ?

No, we had no doubts. We were quickly taken by surprise in that match. They were a great team, who played very well. In the end, though, we were rewarded for all our efforts during the match. All we’ll remember is the win.

Did your team lack confidence ?

I didn’t feel any lack of confidence.

How do you explain your lack of confidence? How do you feel about it ?

There are moments like that. In life, you can be unwell. Soccer isn’t the only thing in life. It’s true that I go through more difficult times than others. I’m trying to get back into it and think 100% about soccer and give my all to get back to this level.
