This Saturday, Paris Saint-Germain faces Vendée Fontenay (National 3, the fifth tier of French football) at the Stade de la Beaujoire in the Round of 32 of the 2025-2026 Coupe de France (kick-off at 9 pm, CET). On Friday, PSG announced that Willian Pacho (24-year-old defender) will not participate in the match.

“In agreement with the sporting management and the technical staff, Willian Pacho has been given a rest. He will rejoin the rest of the squad after the Christmas break.
This is not a major surprise, as Pacho has played a significant amount of football throughout 2025, particularly at the start of this season. It’s important not to take risks and to give players time to rest. For the moment, there are no other players expected to be left out. However, there could well be some rotation in the starting lineup.
