Having arrived in the summer of 2023 from Inter Milan, 29-year-old defender Milan Skriniar has yet to fully establish himself at Paris Saint-Germain. His contract expires in June 2028, and his name has been mentioned in the rumor mill. This Thursday, PSG Inside Actus reports that an offer has been made for the Slovakian, who is attracting interest in Europe.
” Paris would like to recoup around €20 million.
“Freiburg recently submitted an offer for Paris Saint-Germain central defender Milan Skriniar. The club would be willing to pay around €15 million to secure the services of the Slovak international.
PSG management have yet to make an official decision on this offer. However, with the potential arrival of young defensive talents such as Ousmane Diomandé, the Parisian club may be tempted to let Skriniar go in order to lighten its wage bill and reinvest in new recruits. However, Paris would like to recoup a sum in the region of €20 million.
” Several European clubs are currently interested in Milan Skriniar.
Currently, several European clubs are interested in Milan Skriniar. Among them, Juventus, Bayern Munich, FC Sevilla Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe, Besiktas and a Portuguese club are also keeping a close eye on Skriniar’s situation.”
It’s quite possible that Skriniar is attracting interest, with a transfer possibly rather inexpensive for a very experienced player. And let’s not forget that he was a benchmark before his back problem in his final months at Inter Milan.
What’s more, his last 2 games for PSG were more interesting, and he remains invaluable with Slovakia. Still, there’s a feeling that he’s at the end of the hierarchy with coach Luis Enrique, while Lucas Hernandez and Presnel Kimpembe are due to return between now and the winter mercato.
Reason enough to consider a departure. That still depends on the proposals, which have to convince Skriniar and the club. It’s possible, but we’re cautious as long as there’s nothing concrete. Especially as potential suitors may also have other leads. Certain long-standing injuries are putting pressure on us to find reinforcements.
