This Sunday, Paris Saint-Germain (1st) take on Olympique Lyonnais (5th) at the Parc des Princes for the 15th day of Ligue 1 2024-2025 (kick-off 9pm, broadcast on DAZN). On the eve of the match, L’Equipe has put forward a likely Parisian line-up.
Barcola – Ramos – Dembélé
Neves – Vitinha – Zaïre-Emery
Hernandez – Pacho – Marquinhos – Hakimi
Donnarumma.
It’s a team that seems possible, but far from certain. Not least for Ousmane Dembélé and Lucas Hernandez, for very different reasons.
The former clearly annoyed coach Luis Enrique with his red card against Bayern Munich, and was subsequently substituted in Ligue 1. But perhaps this was mainly to prepare for the Salzburg game without him. Lee Kang-In was interesting, without necessarily getting ahead of the competition.
The second was able to play against Salzburg on Tuesday, and that’s excellent news. But it’s only 10 minutes after an absence of around 7 months. It’s probably too early for him to be a starter. We’re expecting him to start a little earlier, so that he can gradually build up his confidence.
As for the rest, we know that Luis Enrique knows how to surprise with competition and a precise tactical choice based on an analysis of the opponent. So we remain cautious. Even if an overall idea is taking shape.
