This Sunday, Paris Saint-Germain (1st) take on Olympique Lyonnais (5th) at the Parc des Princes on Matchday 15 of Ligue 1 2024-2025 (kick-off 8:45pm, broadcast on DAZN in France). Paris coach Luis Enrique must choose his starting 11, taking into account the opponent, upcoming matches and suspension risks, after having formed the Parisian squad for this match.
PSG travelled to the Champions League on Tuesday and won in Salzburg, so there’s still time to recover. But they will have to follow this up with a trip to Monaco on Wednesday (advanced match of matchday 16) and to Lens on Sunday (round of 32 of the Coupe de France).
A bit of time management is therefore conceivable as the year draws to a close. But the idea will of course be to field the best possible team in order to win. Ousmane Dembélé back in the starting line-up? Who in midfield?
Possible line-up:
Barcola – Ramos – Dembélé
Doué – Vitinha – Neves
Mendes – Pacho – Marquinhos – Hakimi
Donnarumma
Substitutes – Safonov, Tenas, Beraldo, Hernandez, Zague, Lee, Mayulu, Ruiz, Asensio, Doué.
Out – Kimpembe (recovery), El Hannach, Kolo Muani, Mbaye, Skriniar (choice).
Possible yellow card suspensions: Willian Pacho, Achraf Hakimi and Warren Zaïre-Emery.
The suspension will come into effect against Saint-Etienne on the weekend of January 12, in Ligue 1 matchday 17.
