Having arrived from Inter Milan in the summer of 2023, 29-year-old defender Milan Skriniar has yet to find his place at Paris Saint-Germain. His contract expires in June 2028, but already a departure seems likely as the Slovak international is no longer playing. This Tuesday, TRT Spor reports that Turkish club Galatasaray are working on a transfer for the Slovak.
Galatasaray are continuing negotiations for Milan Skriniar, and the coach and a member of the Turkish club’s board of directors are in Milan.

It’s hard to say for sure, but it’s true that Skriniar is on his way out. Although his salary is “indecent” for a player who hardly ever plays, seeing him leave Paris remains likely. Skriniar is international and important for his national team, and it’s clear that his situation in Paris is not going in the right direction.
Discussions will be tough, especially as we don’t know what PSG has in mind. The Parisian club wants to come out on top in a deal like this, with a player who cost nothing in transfers when he arrived.
We’ll be watching closely, but let’s remain cautious: with his emoluments, Skriniar’s departure seems complicated, except perhaps on loan with an option to buy. PSG would have to be willing to consider this option.
At least there’s hope, given that the club had already released striker Mauro Icardi when he was “lost” in Paris.
