Having arrived from Inter Milan in the summer of 2023, 29-year-old defender Milan Skriniar has yet to find his place at Paris Saint-Germain. His contract expires in June 2028, but already a departure seems likely as the Slovak international is no longer playing. On Thursday evening, journalist Nicolo Schira confirmed the Galatasaray lead, with a major step forward.
“Talks are progressing between Galatasaray and PSG for Milan Skriniar. Paris has opened the door to a loan deal until June 2025. The two clubs are working to reach an agreement on salary payments: the central defender earns €11 million a year.”
Yesterday, there was talk in the Turkish press of an agreement between Skriniar and Galatasaray, although the two clubs had yet to agree on the formula. PSG wanted a permanent transfer, but perhaps this position has changed.
But above all, we remain very cautious, as nothing is certain yet. In the midst of these rumours of a move forward, Le Parisien and L’Equipe denied that Skriniar had reached an agreement with the Turkish club. So it’s hard to see things clearly. It seems that discussions are taking place, without confirmation.
We can be hopeful, but let’s wait for certainty.
