Luis Enrique, coach of Paris Saint-Germain since the summer of 2023, arrived in the capital on a 2-year contract. A decision about his future was therefore needed fairly quickly. Now he has, with an official extension. PSG announced it today.
It’s no surprise that this new signing has been rumored for some time. With skeptics, as always. Not least because the style of play doesn’t appeal to everyone, nor do some of the responses to the press.
However, there has clearly been a collective improvement since the arrival of coach Luis Enrique. It’s all part of a renewed project, based more on the construction of great talents to help them grow, than on the recruitment of established stars.
