This Saturday, in Matchday 6 of the 2026-2027 Ligue 1 season, Paris Saint-Germain faced Le Mans at the Parc des Princes. Samuel Yohou, the 35-year-old defender for the Le Mans club, spoke to Ligue1+ after PSG’s 3-1 victory.
Yohou: “You can’t give them anything.”
Are you exhausted?
We’re exhausted; we gave it our all. We managed to pull a goal back and showed the courage to do so. Ultimately, it comes down to the little details. Their goals came from second balls—our defensive block didn’t push up in time, and well, they’re ruthless. You can’t give them anything. Plus, the substitutions they made made things difficult. But I think we showed some good things. It wasn’t perfect, but that’s to be expected against a great team like PSG.
Yohou: “I hope this match helps us improve.”
You did have some chances, though?
Yes, we had opportunities—I even had one myself towards the end. It comes down to details, and today, we weren’t clinical enough in either box. We’ll keep working, and I hope this match helps us improve. We play our next match at home against Toulouse.
