Having arrived in the summer transfer window in July 2023 from Mallorca, Lee Kang-in, a 24-year-old Korean midfielder/winger, is under contract at Paris Saint-Germain until June 2028. He has achieved some great things, but is struggling to fully establish himself, and there is talk of a possible departure this transfer window. Today, L’Equipe reports that Nottingham Forest have offered a total of €60 million, which Paris has rejected.
Several interests, but a clear refusal?
“Nottingham Forest have made an offer in recent days estimated at €30 million, with bonuses that could reach an additional €30 million.
A significant sum for a player bought from Mallorca for €22 million two years ago. But Paris rejected the offer and has not opened the door to negotiations. The English management are ready to raise their offer if their Parisian counterparts change their minds. Fulham, AC Milan, and Napoli are also interested.” »
Nothing is impossible; many things can happen during the transfer window. But we remain cautious; it’s just a rumor. We don’t know if the offer really exists, nor its details (30 million in bonuses is difficult to achieve, which is very different from a simple one). But it seems that PSG isn’t particularly keen on Lee, since he’s in the squad and has played a lot.
A departure in the final days of the transfer window (closing on Monday) would be a real surprise. Be careful, though, as things can move very quickly. However, there’s nothing concrete at the moment.
