SCO Angers played host to Paris Saint-Germain on Matchday 11 of Ligue 1. It was an intense 1st half for the Parisians, who found the back of the net 4 times (see video summary). With an early turnaround and some players taking their feet off the gas, the Angevins managed to score two goals in stoppage time, a feat when you consider that in the history of PSG, only FC Barcelona have managed to score two goals in added time, in a match we’d all like to forget. SCO coach Alexandre Dujeux spoke to DAZN after his side’s defeat:

Isn’t it frustrating to win the second half and then lose 4-2?
I think Paris deserved the win. We played against a team that was stronger than us. We had the merit in the second half to come back and win that period. In the first half, up until 2-0, we weren’t aggressive enough and didn’t conquer enough.
They logically led at half-time. At half-time, it was 4-0 and the game was over. To our credit, we didn’t collapse in the second half and came back a little.
Did you have too much respect for PSG in the first half?
Yes, you could say that. We were often late on the ball carrier and lacked aggression, which is what we did better in the second half. It’s a lesson for us, against big teams like that.
Last week we managed to do that against Monaco. But we missed something in the first half, and that’s the only regret I have. I think PSG’s victory is richly deserved.

When we see your game, we think you know how to bounce back, and is that a quality?
You know, when you lose 4-0 to PSG at half-time, and it ends up being 4-2, it could have been worse. Our first half has to be reviewed. Even if it’s PSG, we have to do better, and be more aggressive in particular. That’s important. We didn’t flinch in the second half and we managed to stay on course, but PSG’s victory is logical.
