This Saturday, in the Round of 32 of the 2025-2026 Coupe de France, Paris Saint-Germain faced Vendée Fontenay at the Stade de la Beaujoire. After a match where the Red and Blue dominated comfortably with a solid performance, they won 4-0. Here are our player ratings for the Parisians.
Goalkeeper –
Renato Marin (5.5) – It’s difficult to judge this match in detail as he had almost nothing to do. He was adequate when called upon.
Defenders –
Warren Zaïre-Emery (6) – The 19-year-old midfielder, who ultimately filled in at right-back once again, had a solid, controlled, and composed match. He was replaced in the 60th minute by Fabian Ruiz.
Ilya Zabarnyi (6) – A solid match for the Ukrainian, who wasn’t really troubled given his team’s dominance.
Lucas Beraldo (5.5) – Composed as well, which is understandable considering the match. But he was dribbled past a few times.
Lucas Hernandez (5.5) – Relatively quiet, but a few misplaced passes that seemed avoidable.
Midfielders –
Quentin Ndjantou (5.5) – A timid first half; he quickly picked up a muscle injury. But he made some good passes. Replaced in the 45th minute by Mathis Jangeal.
João Neves (6.5) – A lively entrance, with several balls recovered and added control in midfield.
Senny Mayulu (6) – A very serious match, creating chances and putting in defensive work. Without particularly shining, however.
Forwards –
Désiré Doué (8) – Decisive (1 goal and 1 assist), he was the main creator of chances with some impressive combinations. He seems to be regaining his confidence and rhythm. Substituted in the 60th minute by Noham Kamara.
Ousmane Dembélé (7) – Very composed in his use of the ball, he was primarily a passer. This included some excellent through balls, including the assist for Désiré Doué. He also scored a goal from the penalty spot. Substituted in the 60th minute by Noah Nsoki.
Gonçalo Ramos (7) – He fulfilled his role well today, contributing fairly effectively to the game and scoring twice.
Coach –
Luis Enrique (8) – A very calm and composed management of the squad, despite unfortunate injuries to young players (Boly and Ndjantou). All this with a consistently serious team that is quietly making its mark.
